ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Lucy Kite, story telling has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. My career began in radio at the age of just 14, when I discovered a love of connecting with people and sharing their stories.
That passion led me into television, where I spent more than 20 years as a Journalist, Producer and Presenter, including many years as the Weather Presenter and Entertainment Reporter for ITV Central. During that time, I had the privilege of interviewing everyone from celebrities and politicians to everyday people with extraordinary stories to tell.
One of my more unusual assignments even involved organising a £100,000 wedding competition for ITV and planning the winning couple's entire wedding day. Looking back, perhaps becoming a Celebrant was always on the cards!

For me, becoming a celebrant feels like the most natural next chapter. It brings together everything I have loved throughout my career: meeting people, building relationships, listening carefully, uncovering what makes them unique and crafting stories that truly resonate.
As a Journalist, I learned how to ask the right questions. As a Presenter, I learned how to speak with confidence, warmth and authenticity. As a Producer, I learned how to bring together lots of moving parts to create memorable experiences. Today, I use all of those skills to create beautiful, meaningful ceremonies that reflect the people at their heart.
Alongside my work as a celebrant, I am also a Yoga and Breathwork Teacher. Yoga has taught me the importance of presence, connection and creating space for life's most meaningful moments. It has given me a calm, compassionate approach that I bring to every ceremony, whether I am celebrating a wedding, welcoming a child through a naming ceremony or helping a family honour a loved one through a celebration of life.
Away from work, my favourite role is being Mum to my wonderful son Milo, who keeps me on my toes and reminds me every day to embrace life's adventures. Our family also includes my beautiful Cavapoo, Teddi, who is never far from my side and is quite convinced he is the most important member of the household!

I believe life's biggest moments deserve more than a standard script. They deserve to be personal, memorable and full of heart.
It would be a privilege to tell your story and create a ceremony that you, your family and your friends will remember for years to come.
